There will be a Memorial Gathering for Nancy Lurie at the AAA meeting this year. She passed in May of this year. Please spread the word among our museum anthropology community, and others you know who would like to honor her.
The gathering will be a chance for people to share their memories of Nancy. If you know ahead of time that you would like to speak at the gathering, it would would be greatly appreciated if you contacted Grant Arndt (gparndt@iastate.edu) to let him know, as he is organizing the event. However, Grant noted it is not necessary to arrange ahead of time in order to speak at the event.
