Reminder: Call for Twitter Manager, Council for Museum Anthropology

 The Council for Museum Anthropology is currently seeking a volunteer Twitter manager. The applicant would manage the CMA’s Twitter presence and work as part of the CMA Communications Committee.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with other social media platform managers to create and promote cohesive content for CMA members and followers.

    • Relevant content includes job postings, news articles, exhibition and book reviews, calls for papers, and other information from museum studies, anthropology, art history, Indigenous studies, critical race studies, etc. When applicable, re-post articles from the CMA blog and Facebook.

    • Generate content at least every other day, and more often during relevant conferences, meetings, etc. If needed, this can be done through a scheduling platform.

  • Serve on the CMA communications committee and provide input into the organization's larger communications strategy. Be available for Skype meetings as needed.
